Each year, students from ASU’s West campus are selected to participate based on the following criteria.

• Currently enrolled, full-time student
• Commitment to working with schools and students in high-poverty areas
• Application and written essay
• Academic record of 3.0 GPA preferred (submitted in the form of an unofficial transcript)
• Two teacher/faculty recommendations
• Interview with the Rodel staff and/or the university staff
